Aces High

Hello everybody and welcome to HAIR IN THE AIR, The Offiicial Blog of 3D In Your Face.  Our outside tour is finally over.  Thank you so much to everyone that came out last weekend to support us.  The 21st Saloon was off the hook and our debute at the new American Dream Hang Out was amazing.  There were so many amazing people in the audience.  So many friends and family.  These last two shows really just were an honor to play.  This week we are launching one of the biggest endeavors 3D In Your Face has ever seen.  Saturday, Oct. 18th we will be flying to Minneapolis, jumping in a rental car, driving north towards Canada and eventually perform in the great town of Grand Rapids, MN.  This will be our first fly date as a band and we are celebrating by throwing a "Going Away" party at The 21st Saloon on Friday, Oct. 17th.  Each and everyone of you are invited to come and send us off in true 3D In Your Face Army fashion.  Bring the cake, presents, and party favors.  This is going to be one hell of a weekend.  Don't worry I will be posting tons of pictures and videos of our adventure up in the great white north.

Do you have a copy of our new album "Midnight Devils".  Please help support independent music.  Please help keep Rock N Roll alive.  This is our pride and joy and our heart and soul.  Not to mention if you purchase this album it will be signed and personalized by all four band members.  We will ship around the world.  Order today.

As I mentioned above this a very special week for all of us in the band.  We have know about this trip for a while and we are beyond excited to get out and spread the word and represent you heavy metal maniacs to the great people of Minnesota.  A fly date is a very holy thing for any band.  Some bands have experienced this more than others.  Bigger national bands fly out all the time.  For us this will be our first trip together and a huge step in the momentum of 3D In Your Face.   Not only will this be a good amount of miles logged for us but this will also be a great moral boost for the band.  Nothing get's the boys rallied together like spending hours and hours traveling, telling jokes, laughing, and doing everything as a cohesive band unit.  As a younger musician looking on I was always so jealous of bands that would fly into a huge show, Rock the house down, pack up and fly out.  It's the ultimate Rock N Roll experience.  I always said that one day this would be me.  Eventually I would be that guy.   Well this Saturday I get my first crack at it.  To say I am a little nervous would be an understatement.  Luckily I will be taking on this adventure with my best friends and family so there really isn't anything to be worried about.  Don't miss the wake up call, don't pack something stupid, don't forget any equipment, don't get seperated from the group, don't forget to use the bathroom before any extensive travel.  Check check.  I totally have this.

To be honest with you I love flying.  The whole experience is so crazy.  I think the airports are like some weird space time continume that only occurs at certain locatioins in certain cities.  There are tons of people frantically running around, nobody is happy but nobody is really mad.  Everybody is always just in the constant holding pattern (no pun intended).  Get your coffee, get your book, get your neck pillow.  Wait.  Look out the window and wonder if that is your plane.  Wait.  Eat something that is terrible for you and drink more coffee.  Wait.  Feel sick and tired but still slightly excited that you may be boarding soon.  Wait.  Get on plane.  Wait.  Get on runway.  Wait.  Take off.  That the fun part.  Wait.  Order drink.  Wait.  I love it.  Then when you finally attive, the big race to exit the plane, find your luggage, and get the hell out of this crazy parrallel universe begins.  The whole thing seems almost ridiculous.  Where do I sign up.  The fact that I get to do this with my partners in crime only makes this whole thing seem like a big fun dance party.   I don't think I will be able to stop smiling on Saturday no matter how much sleep I don't get the night before.  Come out this Friday, Oct. 17th and wish us a fond farwell.  I'll try and bring back a souvenier for each and every one of you.

ALWAYS LOUD
FOREVER PROUD

KEEP THE FAITH
