The Hairy Bandito Chronicles Pt. 2. You Know You Love It.

Hello again all you heavy metal rock n roll junkies.  I knew you couldn't stay away.  Welcome to HAIR IN THE AIR, The Official blog of 3D In Your Face.  I have more stories to tell you this week than I can possible write in this blog.  If you are just joining us we began our "Midnight Devils Tour 2013" with two outside shows out on the open road.  The first night of the tour was in my home town of Fremont, NE.  Fremont never disappoints.  The show was great and the crowd was vicious.  They went wild for the Rock N Roll. This time around we played outside so that everyone could see our show for miles.  While it wasn't the warmest night it was matched by the heat coming off the wild animals of Fremont.  We stayed the night on the bus and woke up in one of our favorite towns, Norfolk, NE.  This was our first festival appearance of the summer and headlining the show was none other than Warrant.  Saturday was even colder and rainier but the crowd soon erupted as Warrant took the stage.  Now I promise you I will never talk negative about a band, because truthfully we all are in this for the same reason.  Warrant decided to move their set up and hour and play in the daytime, giving us the headlining position from 10 to 12.  I must admit that was a bad move on their part.  By 10 pm the crowd was electric.  It was a feast for the eyes up on stage.  After Warrant wound Norfolk up it was our job to knock Norfolk out of the park and I think we accomplished just that.  Enough of my stories, let's get to the real reason why you all came to this blog.

THE HAIRY BANDITOS CHRONICLES PT. 2
A few weeks ago I debuted The Hairy Banditos to the world.  If you don't remember or didn't read there back story here it is.  This time around The Hairy Banditos have found themselves in trouble again.  Their vow of justice and honor has been tested.  It has been rode hard and put away.....dry.  As The Hairy Banditos traveled across the country fighting for the outcast, the weak, and the helpless they soon found themselves face to face with their greatest enemy yet.  Poverty.  Unfortunately for them fighting crime doesn't pay that well and The Hairy Banditos were forced to go out and find part time jobs.  Trust me when I say kids it's not always glitz and glamour.  The police just don't cut you a check when you apprehend the bad guys.  Somehow Dog The Bounty Hunter makes it work, but that is a different story.  For the first time ever,  The Bandito Brothers decided they needed to split up and find work where ever they could.  Hello 9 to 5 world.  Hello corporate America.  Hell suits, and hello ties.  Hello lunch breaks and stinky break rooms.  Things were looking grim for our beloved masked heroes.  They were now part of the system.  But things always look darkest right before the dawn.

Our leader Hairy J Bandito struck out and found a few meaningless jobs in the rural country sides of middle America.  Because of his look and demeanor Hairy J was never fully excepted into this society.  For a short time he pumped gas at a gas station.  Having no need for gasoline in Mexico, Hairy J. couldn't understand the anger and resentment at the pumps.  He was put down for his unorthodox methods of dispensing gasoline into cars.  For a few months Hairy J. was a Honey Dipper, and here he really shined.  It was a quite private job that afforded him the luxuries of working at his own pace.  Hairy excelled but unfortunately in the honey dipping business there is no room to move up the company ladder.  Hairy wasn't making enough to survive and had to move on to circus stage entertainer.  Back out on the road Hairy J. would set up night after night on any stage that would have him.  He would do his act collect his meager earnings and move on, like a machine.  In one small town Hairy J. Bandito ran into an old friend from back in Mexico.  To protect the innocent I will change the man's name to Ralph.  Ralph saw Hairy J. was in desperate need of help.  Him and his brothers were not fit for the grind of punching the proverbial clock.  Ralph made Hairy and offer that he could not refuse.  Ralph would give them a place to stay and food to eat, as long as the brother's reunited and resumed their fight against evil.  Ralph soon became a father figure to the brother's.  He helped them train day in and day out, know full well that one day the time would come when the boys would have to leave.  Things were good again thanks to the kindness of Ralph.  He brought the brothers back together.  No one could have known what lay just around the corner.

There you have it.  Another chapter in the book of THE HAIRY BANDITOS.  I hope you enjoyed reading this as much as I enjoyed writing it.  It's not everyday the Banditos make an appearance, but when they do you know it is going to be good.  This weekend our summer tour continues back where we left off.  Friday night June7th, 3D In Your Face will be taking our 21st Saloon Road show back up to Battle Creek, NE, 12 miles west of Norfolk, NE.  We will be playing our first street dance of the season and I know everyone is excited for this event.  Rumor has it that the 8 flame towers are getting tuned up for their first appearance, shhhhhh.  Battle Creek you have no idea what you have gotten yourself into.  Saturday we will be doing a private event, sorry.  Don't worry.  Saturday, June 8th is also the premier of my brand new radio show HAIR IN THE AIR on The Big O 101.9.  From 8 PM to 10 PM CST I will be playing you the loudest, the hairiest, the nastiest Rock N Roll music I can find.  Go to my facebook page or twitter and leave a message or comment.  I am always taking requests for next weeks show.  Prepare to have your minds blown apart.

  2. I just caught 3D at the Freemont and Warrant gig in Norfolk. They cranked their amps to 11 and then cut loose with a barrage of Metal classics that were truly "In your face". Long live 3D and thanks for carrying the torch for metal. Its about time someone stepped up to bring Metal back to the front.
