"Lost In The Volume" Presale Link

Hello my friends.  Welcome to HAIR IN THE AIR, The Official blog of 3D In Your Face.  Well we are getting down to the wire here.  One more week to go and it's time to unleash a new Rock N Roll record on the world.  Because we love you people so much we are very happy to announce that the pre-sale for "Lost In The Volume" is now up and running.  Go to
https://3dinyourface.bandcamp.com/album/lost-in-the-volume
and order now.  All physical CD's ordered will be signed by all four band members and will include a special "Thank You" care package.  The physical CD's will be shipped out on May 20th, the day of the album release.  If you pre-order the digital album you will receive 4 tracks before the May 20th release.  To tell you the truth this is our first pre-sale and our goal is to sell 100 albums in a week.  We are so proud of this record and so thankful for everyone that has helped us get to this point.  Thank you especialy to our friends and family that have had to deal with us being stressed out.  Putting out a record isn't the easiest thing a band can do but believe me in a week it's all going to be worth it.  Just know that this whole thing comes from the heart and every decision we've made has been from an honest place.  On that not we have some more huge things coming down this weekend.  Tonight (Friday) May 13th we will be playing our second to the last show at The 21st Saloon.  It's crazy to think we have been here almost every Friday since September 2015.  Saturday May 14th The Midnight Devils hit the road as part of The "Radio Riot" Tour.  We will be making our debut at Doc's Road House in Logan, IA.  Show begins at 10 PM.  Also don't miss my radio show also called HAIR IN THE AIR, Saturday night at 10 PM on 101.9 The Keg.

Things are really starting to heat up in our world, new album, summer tour, and Rocklahoma 2016.  This is honestly one of the most exciting and terrifying times I've ever had playing in a band.  The pressure is relentless but I totally feel that we have this thing under control.  So on a lighter not I want to introduce you to the newest member of the team.  Ladies and gentelman tonight I will be breaking out my brand new baby.  I introduce you to.  I bought this guitar used from a friend and when i acquired it the previous owner had hand painted it flat black. I always told myself that one day I would have a neon pink guitar.  So I pick this one up cheap and shipped it to Lee Garver at GMW Guitar Works in California USA.  I only had a few request.  "Please paint it the brightest pink you can find and fill in the volume and tone holes".  A few months later I had an electric pink guitar sitting in Nebraska.  I then had Todd at Tone Whizard wire the pick-ups straight to an on/off switch.  I took the pick gaurd, truss rod cover, and cavity cover to my bass student Chris Stoffel who created steal versions.  These were then chrome plated and reinstalled.  To finish it off Jim Howell help design and create a one of a kind vinyl "Sam Spade" decal for the back.  All in all this guitar is the prettiest thing I have ever owned and it sounds bad to the bone.  A true Sam Spade custom and it will be live and louder than hell this Friday.  Just a little fun during these crazy times.

"Lost In The Volume" - A Little Sneak Peak

Hello my friends and welcome to HAIR IN THE AIR, The Official Blog of 3D In Your Face.  Now I realize it has been a few weeks since my last blog.  It's not because I don't love you wild animals.  Things have been going great with the new album "Lost In The Volume" and we have been busting our asses getting everything ready to roll for the May 20th worldwide release.  All of the art has been approved, the songs have been mixed and mastered, and production has begun on printing the actually CDs themselves.  We are planning on releasing the first single "Static Renegade" in a few days via an official lyric video.  If you want a sneak listen tune into my radio show Hair In The Air, this Saturday night a little before midnight on 101.9 The Keg.  A 101.9 The Keg exclusive we will be broadcasting "Static Renegade" to the world.  Pre sale for the new album will begin in about a week via 3dinyourface.bandcamp.com.  All sales are through paypal and if you order a CD you will receive a free digital download of the album as well.  All CDs will be shipped out Friday, May 20th before the release party.  Now that everything is set, today Friday May 6th, we are throwing a huge Rock N Roll party at The 21st Saloon.  There are only three shows left in this Friday Night Residency before we leave for the summer tour.  It's been one hell of a fun run and I don't want it to end but we need to get out and see the world.  Be there tonight as we team up with The Omaha Roller Girls as they sell tickets to their upcoming match May 26th at The Ralston Arena.  Saturday the full band has the evening off but The Midnight Devils will be hitting Iowa for a fine evening of Rock N Roll fun.  Sniper and I have been apart of this acoustic tour since April called The "Radio Riot" 2016 Tour.  Saturday we will be taking our show to Macedonia, Iowa for our debut at The Back Forty.  Show begins at 10 PM.

You people have been so patient with us and we can't thank you enough.  This album has been a two year project that we have put everything into.  It was only supposed to be a year in between albums but unfortunately life happens and I think that shows in this record.  "Lost In The Volume" is definitely a follow up to "Midnight Devils".  I think the songs are better, the lyrics are more meaningful, and the guitars sound better.  You can tell we grew as musicians in the last two years.  This album isn't for us, this is for all of you out there.  This album is for our friends and family (and I consider you family) that have supported us in this journey.  This album represents a big middle finger to all of those people that said it couldn't be done, it's to hard, you'll never make it.  This album is an attitude and a mindset.  Every time I hear the songs I still get goosebumps.  I remember what happened and the reason that we wrote the song.  I hope that "Lost In The Volume" gives you the same feelings.  Since you have been so amazingly patient and supportive and I always love to treat my blog readers.  I have enclosed a picture of the back cover of the album.  Don't tell anyone you saw it but this is the art that we approved from the manufacturer.  I hope you like it.
